Albion (GY) remain on course for the second division and Burgess Cup in their debut season following an emphatic 9-0 win in the Burgess Cup semi-final against South Yarmouth, who admitted the only thing they did right was turn up on time.

Unfortunately for South Yarmouth, Albion hit some of their best form of the season as Johnny Bowles led the way with a hat-trick assisted by doubles from James Hogbin and Ryan Johnson, with Rhys Butler and Matthew Oldham completing the scoring.

Tomorrow it is two of the more established clubs who compete in the second semi-final with

MK United Reserves hoping to retain the trophy won 12 months ago when they face the very experienced Prostar Windows for a place in the final on

April 22.

Last Saturday MK United Reserves, who head Division Two, were held to a 2-2 draw by bottom Martham A who scored through Stephen Emmett and Gary Bilton, with Dale Crane and Connor Oxborough replying for MK.

Meanwhile, Prostar Windows extended their winning run to three games with a 4-2 win at Great Yarmouth United thanks to two goals from Johnson and one each J Symonds and A Harris.

Second-placed Shrublands' promotion push seems to have stalled as they lost for the second successive week, this time Luke Spall, Richard Jepps and Ben Flaxman netted in a narrow 3-2 win for Norfolk & Chance.

Great Yarmouth Peelers completed a perfect month with their fourth win in March as a Richard Temple hat-trick led them to a 5-3 win against Paperclip with Wayne and Richard Goreham completing the scoring.

Carpathians took the lead midway through the half against a Gorleston Wanderers side featuring many former Carpathians players, through Adrian Coote.

Wanderers equalised in the second half through one of the former players - Chris Thompson. Even with Wanderers having a man sent off, Carpathians had to desperately defend with Josh Staffeiri, yet again, coming to the rescue especially with a triple save near the end.

Then, as Carpathians' luck has been going all season, Wanderers took the lead in the last minute through Ben Clarke.

Carpathians pushed and David Greasby found Coote who beat the keeper only to see his effort hit the bar. Fortunately, Jimmy Youngs followed up and equalised with 20 seconds remaining.

Catfield returned to the top of the first division with a hard-earned 2-0 win against Reedham with goals from Chad Pillar and Aaron Bowers. Vida Formoso and David Motty scored as Great Yarmouth International defeated Arches 2-1 and five goals from Daniel Goodrum eased Lacon Arms to a 9-3 victory against Tramway with Kai Lake, Del Salmon, Martin McColgan and John Hughes also on target.
