ON Saturday the second of Great Yarmouth Swimming Club's age group championships were held.

The cups for the winners were in need of replacement, and this was achieved by a donation from the late Joe Delf, who had been a member of the club for 84 years.

The overall winner of the championships was Jack Utting who set up three new records in backstroke, freestyle and fly. These records were 10 years old.

Other records were broken by Amelia Driver backstroke, Gabriella Crick breaststroke, Aaron Hudson backstroke and Callum Stannard breaststroke.

The overall age group winners were: nine years Amelia Driver, Jack Collins; 10 years Bethany Burwood, Taylor Hudson, Patrick Manning; 11 years Danielle Page, Isaac Kirby; 12 years Paige Lovage, Jack Utting; 13 years Kelly Pyewell, Olivia Smith, Keelan Pyewell; 14 years Zoe Prettyman, Tom Smith; 15/16 years Grace Hubbard, Brandon Tennant.

Results. Girls: nine years breastroke 1 Gabriella Crick, 2 Emily Loveland, 3 Amelia Driver; backstroke 1 Amelia Driver, 2 Gabriella Crick, 3 Emily Loveland.

10 years freestyle 1 Taylor Hudson, 2 Bethany Burwood, 3 Emily Acland; fly 1 Bethany Burwood, 2 Taylor Hudson, 3 Isobel Robbins.
