Things were looking up on Saturday as, at event number 439, a drone camera was used to record the Gorleston Cliffs parkrun for the first time.
A link to the video is on the Facebook page. Slight drizzle and a light northerly wind interrupted the filming, but were good for the participants.
Partly because of it being Round Norolk Relay weekend, numbers were slightly down but of the 297 parkrunners, including 35 newcomers, 20pc achieved new personal bests.
The star personal bests were achieved by Matthew Sutton on his 323rd run and in men’s first place. Rachel Allen (296th visit), Stephen Harvey (127th) and Vikki Brownsell (109th).
Samantha Lines of Waveney Valley AC. on her first visit, she was first lady and first overall.
Two runners reached their 50-club and qualify for their free quality T-shirts. They are Jason Snowling (also getting a personal best) and Hung Lai.
