Students from East Norfolk Sixth Form College competed at the AoC Sport National Championships, coming home with bronze medals.

Twelve students travelled to the University of Nottingham where they battled against teams from colleges across England and Wales.

The team played in three days of strenuous competition against nine other regions, achieving a third place finish. The team missed gold by two points and silver by one point and were the only team to beat the eventual winners.

Jack Garrod, football coach said: “The students put in some brilliant performances and can be proud of their achievements, finishing with bronze medals is testament to the talent and strength of our students. This was the first opportunity this group of students had to compete at national standard and I would like to congratulate all the students who represented both East Norfolk and the Eastern region.”
