THE deluge of rain put paid to several fixtures with the games at Hemsby and Rollesby off, Caesars abandoned and the non-start of the two Intermediate Cup fixtures involving Camden Tavern Reserves and Windmill.
They will try again on Sunday in their respective ties at Bayer and New Buckenham.
There were a handful of games played.
In Division One, El Sol closed the gap on leaders Camden to three points following their fine 3-1 win against an out-of-sorts Arches who saw their captain Warren Nicholls taken off with a suspected broken ankle.
At Norton Subcourse a makeshift home side including five new players played the better football but fell to a 2-0 defeat to Sunningdale Boys. But the Boys' best player on the day, Jellyman in goal, dislocated his knee in the final minute and the league would like to wish both players a speedy recovery.
