An impressive total of 304 people ran, jogged or walked Gorleston Cliffs parkrun at the weekend in event number 427.

With 37 first timers and 42 personal best times it was another successful event. A total of 25 different running clubs were represented and there was even international attendance with a parkrunner from Australia.

Lawrence Wade, from City of Norwich AC, was first to over the line in 17.20. The top spot was closely contested with another CONAC runner Johnny Lee second in 17.25 and Richard Ginn (Pocklington Runners) third in 17.41.

Marc Evans of Great Yarmouth Road Runners was sixth in 18.38, closely followed in seventh by Billy Heseltine of Great Yarmouth and Distict AC (18.38).

Sarah Stubbs was first woman to finish in 22.14. Samantha Ismail-Epps was second in 22.43 and Jessica Vincent third with a new parkrun personal best time of 22.52.
