There was more success for local group Chinto Karate as another one of their students has been selected to compete as part of the AMA England squad.
Chloe Gomes, who achieved her black belt in June, is excited to be joining her fellow AMA England team-mate Elizabeth Smith and together they will be competing in the second world karate championships in Montecatini Terme in Italy between November 30 and December 3.
Chinto karate now has five of its students in the AMA England squad.

Members of the group attended the Grand Open Championships at Clacton.
Edoua Edoua won two bronze medals, one in a higher age category in kumite. Elizabeth Smith won a bronze in her category and silver in the higher age category in kumite while Chloe Gomes won bronze in kata.
