Due to increasing numbers of participants the course for the latest Gorleston Cliffs Parkrun was slightly adapted to make the start safer for the 300-plus runners.

First-timer Iain Robertson from Tri-Anglia club crossed the newly-positioned finish line in 16.54. Iain was followed by Johnny Lee in 17.40 and Marc Evans in 17.57. Congratulations to first-timer Becky Schofield, also from Tri-Anglia, who was the first woman in 18.54. Danielle Sullivan was second in 21.09 and Allyna Mukuya third in 22.53.

William Delf celebrated the completion of his 250th parkrun while Rob Bailey clocked his personal best of 24.07 in his 184th run.

Meanwhile Sarah Withingtono carried out her 100th marshalling duty on the new course. Sarah guided runners safely around the new turn-a-round point in her usual encouraging way.

Volunteers make this popular event happen every week and are hugely appreciated.
