A new Norfolk and Suffolk Youth League season got underway with age groups ranging from under-16s to all new under-7 teams.

With more than 100 new footballers at the under-7 age group many would be looking to score their first goal in youth football.

Archie, Ollie, Hugo, Bobby and Charlie all found the net for the new under-7 Martham team while Oliver, Malachi, Olly and Samuel scored for both the Tornados and Hurricanes of Gorleston.

The Eagles of Gorleston Rangers also had their goal-scoring boots on as Harlen, Teedy-Jon and Ollie were all on target.

At Under-16 level Bungay Town Royals, Gorleston Hurricanes, Waveney Tigers and Shrublands all started with three points. Division Two has two teams boasting three points as both Sole Bay and the Barbarians of Kirkley & Pakefield share top position.

Division One at under 14 level saw a 1-1 draw between the Meerkats of Waveney and the Galaxy team from Bohemians while there were three points for both the Jaguars and Panthers of Waveney and the Athletic team of Bungay Town. In Division Two there was a drawn match as Martham and Burnt Hill shared eight goals while three points were bagged by the Galacticos from Bohemians and the Lions of Waveney.

In Under 12 Division One, Gorleston Rangers Eagles and Hawks both had drawn matches against the Vipers and the Cobras of Kirkley & Pakefield while there were victories for Ormesby Lads and Waveney Thundercats.

At under-11 level, finding the back of the net was not an issue with Onur, Beau, Brodie, Alfie and Joseph all scoring for the Harriers of Gorleston Rangers, along with Dean for the Bees of Beccles, Harvey, Archie and Billy for Caister, Aiden and Alfie for Stalham, Carter and Joshua for Cobholm and Joe, Oliver and Jenson for the Tornados of Gorleston FC.

For Ormesby, Poppy, James, Harry, Callum Robert and Alfie were all on target while Waveney Lions and Tigers with claws sharpened had Rafael, Ryan, Finn and Josh on target, and the Royals of KPFC had goals to celebrate from Harry and Bailey.

The Knights of KPFC had James and Luca on target as were Alfy, Bailey, Rio, Jonathan and Jayden for the Ospreys of Gorleston Rangers, Jack and Thomas for the Hawks and Ben for Beccles Wasps.
