Gorleston face an Easter double-header against relegated teams.
Tomorrow the Greens, whose game at the weekened was cancelled after the death of club president Jimmy Jones, return to action with a trip to lowly Newmarket Town.
Newmarket are second from bottom and have already been relegated from the Premier Division, just three seasons after an Emerald Park victory gave the Suffolk side the First Division championship.
The Jockeys have lost their last 11 games and were beaten 3-1 by the Greens earlier this season, when Christy Finch hit a hat-trick.
On Easter Monday Gorleston face the other team who have already been relegated when archrivals Great Yarmouth Town visit Emerald Park. The derby game will kick off at 3pm.
The two sides drew 2-2 in the Boxing Day derby at the Wellesley and also met in the Norfolk Senior Cup with Gorleston winning 4-2, but only after extra time.
Gorleston Reserves are at home to Woodbridge Reserves on Saturday needing a win to remain at the top of the table after Leiston and Needham Market closed the gap last week.
Last Sunday the club’s U16 side won their League Cup, to add to the U12 League Cup linal victory last week.
Gorleston Football Club would like to thank all clubs, officials and individuals who have sent messages of condolences to the club on the loss of their beloved President Jimmy Jones.
It will be very comforting for his family to know how well thought of he was, not just by us but by so many others.
There is a board on the clubs Forum that has been opened for anybody who would still like to leave a message, which can be found at www.gorlestonfc.proboards.com
