Gorleston Ladies shared the spoils in a 2-2 draw with Stalham Ladies at Emerald Park.
Maria Jardim in goal is growing in confidence week by week and prevented Stalham from taking an early lead with a flurry of saves.
Stalham took the lead from a quick through ball and low cross which was a side-footed home.
The hosts were in control however and when a corner which Molly Sims floated over was cleared to the edge of the box Kelly Allen hit a stunning shot to make it 1-1.
For a brief spell after the break the Greens seemed to switch off and this allowed Stalham to regain the lead with a well-worked move.
Again the Greens weren’t finished however and piled on the pressure after after several near misses they equalised when Mary Croft’s shot was saved and Sam Hunn was there to convert with a thunderbolt shot.
This Sunday sees Gorleston take on Thorpe Ladies at Emerald Park (2pm).
