Great Yarmouth Sunday League (sponsored by the Cliff Hotel)

Sunday aw the quarter-finals of the KO Plate take place. Second Division Gorleston Rangers edged out First Division Gorleston Albion 2-1. Another Second Division side to put out First Division opposition was Leisureland who were involved in a nine-goal thriller with Acle Rangers, with Leisureland winning 6-3.

The all First Division tie saw White Sox play Windmill on the Beaco, as a 4-0 win by Windmill put them in the semi-finals.

Bohemians made it two First Division sides through as they eased past Second Division Memphis Belton 6-0.

Leisureland now play Windmill and Gorleston Rangers face Bohemians. Matches to be played March 25.

Norfolk Sunday Senior Cup finalists Camden Tavern made it through to their second cup final this season.

Yet again a solitary goal was enough to see them to victory.

But Lichfield Arms pushed Camden all the way and can take a lot away from this creditable performance, against one of the league’s most established sides.

In Division Two, Windmill Res picked up another three valuable points as they won 4-2on Mill Lane against Hemsby.

Hemsby Athletic overcame Camden Tavern Res, running out 7-2 winners, and AC Mill Lane gained as many points as they did goals, with a 3-1 win over Breydon Utd.
