K9 Fight Team’s Monsoon Rising event at the Ocean Rooms was a packed out show with great results for local fighters.

K9’s Prince Gee won his exciting middleweight bout with Lowestoft’s durable Matt Martins on points.

Alex Gregory took on Norwich’s Declan Scarth in a K1 bout, the K9 fighter knocking Scarth down with a right hook in the opening seconds. Scarth beat the count but was caught with a head kick and knocked down again, Gregory winning by TKO.

Travis Neller had a great K1 bout with Leicester’s Kian Patel, Travis’ monster low kicks edging the decision, while brother Ashton Neller won on points against Vinnie Shillitto.

Zane Durrent, making his debut, beat Aston Harwood in a great little battle, Odin Jones fought his heart out to get a well-earned draw, Cam Smith was unlucky not to get the decision in his bout and William Davis was narrowly outpointed in his title bout.
