The young Greens, who last played a competitive match on December 16, started brightly with Taylor Hodges seeing a lot of the ball and Jordan Woolston's pace causing the Kirkley defence a few headaches.
The Greens had the majority of play in the first half and were shell-shocked to find themselves a goal down from a well-worked Kirkley corner in the
43rd minute.
The influence of Chris Clements and Harry Harris seemed to work its magic as the Greens came out all guns blazing and soon got the equaliser.
Woolston played a ball into the middle of the defence and the unchallenged defender mis-controlled and the ball fell to Harvey Harris who he slid it past the keeper.
