MARTIAL ARTS: The last grading of the year was held for students attending the Gorleston-based club of the Chinto Karate Group.
All students passed with well-deserved marks with distinctions going to Louie Bateman, Venetia Spink and Jodi Ip.
The Gorleston club train at the Magdalen Methodist Church on Monday and Friday evenings and Saturday mornings. Alternative venues are in Bradwell, Belton and Yarmouth.
A new venue will open to new members in Gorleston at the Peterhouse Primary School from Wednesday, January 12 at 5.45pm. Sessions cost �30 and there is no contract or direct debit.
Anyone wishing to join the karate classes, Winners Fight Club, Taebo classes or the newly-formed stretch and tone sessions can contact Tracy Pillar (4th Dan) on 07780 832484.
