There was a mixed bag of results for Great Yarmouth Sunday League teams in the first rounds of their respective County Cups.
Hemsby won 3-1 at Norman Wanderers with a brace from Alan Barrett and James Hunt scoring the other. AC Mill Lane lost 4-0 at home to Sprowston Wanderers.
In the Suffolk Senior Cup Waveney overcame league rivals The Fusileers 2-0, while The Flying Dutchman won 3-2 at Mettingham.
In the league El Sol beat old rivals Windmill 2-1 to maintain their 100pc record. Wheelwrights kept close on their tails by winning 16-1 away to Real Ale Madrid. Mitch Forbes notched six and Adam Secker a hat-trick. Other goals came from Gary Todd (2), Charlie McAra (2), Joel Wilson, Scott Bishop and Sam Wooldridge. Memphis Belton gained their first point with a 1-1 draw against Bohemians with Leigh Gregg getting on the scoresheet.
Clubs are reminded to take all plastic bottles and rubbish away with them after games.
