Greens aim to continue winning streak

GORLESTON are back in Ridgeons League Division One action with a trip to Whitton United tomorrow kick off 3pm.

The Greens will be hoping to maintain their run of good form with three points against the mid-table Suffolk side.

The club have been docked six points after fielding the suspended Adam Ferguson in matches against Long Melford and Fakenham, which must be replayed.

Manager Richard Daniels is likely to play new signing Jose Vide after impressing after coming off the bench in last week's 3-2 Norfolk Senior Cup win against Norwich St John's.

John Bell who has made a swift return to Emerald Park from Norwich United is also set to start.

Daniels said: “It is going to be a difficult game at Whitton with the windy conditions and sloped pitch, but we are hopeful of continuing our winning run.”
