Following complaints about his language at last week's Yarmouth derby, Gorleston manager Richard Daniels issued an apology on his regular blog on the club's website.

“I apologise for my outburst after the blatant handball late in the second half,” he said.

“It's called passion and I'm desperate for my team to get their rewards for their efforts in a game they simply didn't deserve to lose.

“I lost my head and although I wasn't the only one shouting out, I probably was the loudest, so again I apologise to anyone I offended, but I'm not going to apologise for my commitment and passion I show every week towards my team, that's something that will remain with me forever.”
