The Greens welcomed Aaron Bowers back into the starting line-up and continued with a back three and wing-back system.
They started well with midfielder John Bell shooting wide early on. Peter Lambert forced his way into the box despite being pulled back and appeared to be tripped in the area, but the referee gave a free-kick outside the box.
Bell set Lambert up with another chance after 20 minutes but keeper Darren Moyse palmed it wide. From the corner a diving Lambert header went wide.

Cornard came into the game - Callum Aves rounded Elliot Pride but saw Adam Ferguson block his goal-bound effort. Two more good chances for the visitors went begging as the Greens struggled to clear the ball.
Gorleston took the lead on the half-hour mark. Steve Taylor's right-wing corner was met at the near post by Lambert's header and, despite a defender's valiant effort, the linesman signalled the ball had crossed the line.
Cornard started the second period having more possession without causing the Greens' keeper any problems.
The game was virtually wrapped up in the 54th minute when Bowers took a quick free-kick, which Lambert glanced in.
Bell and Bowers were controlling midfield and their link-up with each other grew as the game went on. DJ Kareche almost extended the lead in the 65th minute, but a last-ditch tackle prevented a certain goal.
It was only a temporary reprieve, as seven minutes later a Lambert lay-off put Luke Goreham in on goal and he slotted the ball home through the keeper's legs.
Gorleston played some great football and, at times, some exquisite one-touch moves but it was a tremendous solo run by Kareche that created the next chance for Goreham, though his effort was blocked.
Cornard's best chance came with three minutes remaining when they broke two against one, but Eddie Thompson held them up long enough for cover to arrive.
Deep into injury time Lambert lobbed the keeper to put the ball in the net again but was denied a
hat-trick by the offside flag.
