GORLESTON'S new found league form will be tested to the full in tomorrow's home clash with Ridgeons League Division 1 leaders FC Clacton.

The Greens entertain the Essex side at Emerald Park high on confidence after two straight wins.

Manager Richard Daniels has signed Jose Vide from Yarmouth Town and is set to secure the services of John Bell from Norwich United.

Midfielder Bell is poised to make a swift return to Gorleston after leaving the club just before the start of the season.

Daniels was full of praise for his side following the mid-week 2-1 home win against Stowmarket, which followed Saturday's 4-1 victory at Thetford.

He said: “We showed a lot of attacking flair and had a makeshift back four that never looked in trouble. Clacton are very strong all over the park and deserve to be top of the table.”
