There was a remarkable increase in attendances at Gorleston football club's Emerald Park last season. A total of 2002 spectators watched the first team play which gave an average gate of 105.

There was a remarkable increase in attendances at Gorleston football club's Emerald Park last season. A total of 2002 spectators watched the first team play which gave an average gate of 105.

The highest supported team in Ridgeons League One was Saffron Walden with an average gate of 146.

The average gate for the Reserves in their first season in the Northern Section of the Ridgeons Reserve League was 35. The most supported team in this division was Lowestoft Town Reserves with an average gate of 74.

Gorleston Youth fared much better with an average gate of 59. The most supported team in this league was North Walsham with an average gate of 98.

Lee Hunter was leading first team scorer with 35 goals from 37 games. The leading marksman for the reserves was S Butler with 11 goals from 25 games. B Ingram scored eight goals in 14 games for the youth team.
