Gorleston hit Norfolk Senior Cup trail on Saturday with a second round tie at Mulbarton Wanderers, who are going well in the Premier Division of the Anglian Combination.

The match is at Mulberry Park and kicks off early at 1.30pm.

Then, on Tuesday night, it is back to league action at Emerald Park when league leaders Felixstowe & Walton Utd are the visitors (7.45pm).

Felixstowe have won 14 of their 15 league games so far and beat the Greens 6-0 last time the sides met towards the end of last season.

Gorleston will be without Taurean Molloy who is serving the last of his two game suspension for his sending off against Newmarket.

In the Norfolk Junior Cup last week, Gorleston Reserves made progress into the third round after beating Martham 1-0 thanks to a late Jason Thompson penalty. They will now travel to AFC Lynn in the next round.

The Reserves are at home tomorrow in the league against South Walsham while Martham visit Horsford (both 2.30pm).

Gorleston Under-18s made progress in the FA Youth Cup last week. Despite being down to 10 men, the young Greens beat Needham Market 3-2 with goals from Brady Philpott, Jack Cottingham and Ismael Fatadjo.

They were rewarded with another home tie in the third qualifying round which will be played this Thursday, October 19, when Dagenham & Redbridge.

The game kicks off at 7.45pm and will go to extra-time and penalties if required. Entry is £3.

Caister were involved in a thrilling game in the Premier Division of the Anglian Combination, coming away from Wroxham Reserves with a point following a 4-4 draw.

Nick Bailey, George Barnden, Lee Turner and Keegan Middleton were the scorers for Caister, with Danny Rogers, Jordan Bond, Marcus Wilkinson and Ryan Fuller (penalty) on target for the Yachtsmen.

Caister take a break from league action tomorrow when they visit Diss Town from the second flight of the Thurlow Nunn League in the second round of the Norfolk Senior Cup (1.30pm).

The Tangerines will start as favourites but Caister - sixth in the Anglian Combination top flight - will be well aware that they were beaten 8-0 at home by Whitton United in their previous home fixture.
