It was the second of two tough away games for the Greens following a notable 3-2 win at Diss.
Kyle Howell replaced the injured Adam Thurtle in central defence with Louis Turner standing in for Howell at right-back.
One of five teams still in contention for promotion, Gorleston face another tough Ridgeons Division One away fixture at Saffron Walden tomorrow.
