GORLESTON Football Club committee, supporters and friends celebrated the end of a successful season at the Grosvenor Casino last Friday night, where they were entertained by Pyevarotti and enjoyed an excellent buffet.
The main purpose of the evening was to thank the casino for their sponsorship during the Greens’ most successful season for many years.
They gained promotion to the Ridgeons League Premier Division and won the KO Cup.
A framed shirt was presented to Steve Small by Jimmy Jones and Albert Cadmore.
