Molby was appearing at the Royal Assembly Rooms on Wednesday at a special dinner organised by Gorleston Football Club.
The midfielder, who also made a handful of appearances for Norwich City, recalled some of the highlights of his illustrious career at club and international football.
In 292 games for Liverpool he scored 62 goals, 42 from the penalty spot.
