DURING the half-term break 32 Woodlands pupils attended a football festival at Lynn Grove High School.

It was an afternoon of sporting fun organised by Aidy Simm, area football development officer and Darren Moss from Norfolk County FA.

The purpose of the afternoon was for the children to have fun but also for 16 local high school pupils who had been attending a junior football organisers' course throughout the week to be assessed.

All 16 pupils went onto pass the JFO qualification, which is the first step on the coaching ladder.

Woodlands pupils had an enjoyable afternoon and, as always, were exceptionally well behaved.

Woodlands PE team Stuart Aldous and Kerry Webb thanked Aidy and Darren for organising the event, the JFOs for providing Woodlands pupils with a fun afternoon, the parents for supporting the event as always and the pupils for their dedication and hard work - and for representing their school during their half-term break.
