The league came to a conclusion last Saturday as the final three pieces of silverware were decided. The league, after eight, years has brand new league champions after Haven Bridge United capped their first season in Division One by lifting the league crown.
They sealed the title with a final day home win over Albion Tramway who for over an hour played some superb stuff of their own. However the home side’s superiority shone through and it was left to Injured club captain Scott Butler to lift the title to cap and league and league cup double.
Congratulations also go to Graeme Eagle and his side on winning the Division Two championship. Although Martham called off on the final day the title is won over the course of a season so congratulations to all at the club on an outstanding achievement in the club’s first season.
The final trophy lifted went to MK Shrubs who took the Jim Bloomfield Invitation Cup exacting revenge on Prostar WEindows for last season’s defeat. Credit goes to Dean Sutton’s side who put up a tremendous fight but MK proved too strong and it was left to captain Adam hogg to receive the cup.
