Over the last couple of months Yarmouth Hockey Club's development team have been playing in Broadland Hockey Club's Summer League.

They played teams from Reepham, Norwich City, Old Buckenham and Broadland, losing only one game. This put them in the final against old rivals Norwich City where Yarmouth pressed for an early goal.

It came from a really well-worked move. Before the break Norwich City, who contained county players, equalised.

The second half saw Yarmouth defend a string of short corners brilliantly. But their luck was not in as Norwich City scored two more goals to win 3-1. One consolation was that Charlotte Yates was presented with a trophy for being top scorer with 10 goals.
