MARTIAL ARTS: Junior kickboxers from the 3 Lions Gym were in action again in Bury St Edmunds at the weekend, gaining five victories against one loss against opponents from London, Birmingham, Hastings and Ipswich.

Remy Sayer (nine) beat Londoner Jonah Hall on points in a great little match. sister Tia Sayer (11) was in great form beating Hastings fighter Adele White by first round stoppage.

Hadley Neller (six) beat his taller and heavier London opponent Jaden Goodswin with a great display of aggression. Shanice Baker (eight) beat Ipswich fighter Sky Hodgins in an excellent close bout, and Kelis Sabourn (nine) also won her bout.

Chiara Spink (11) lost a close bout but needs to be just a little more aggressive and busy next time.

World champion Kelsea Carroll was matched with Midlands fighter Hayley Ward, who felt ill before the fight and had to pull out. So Kelsea did an exhibition bout with her team-mate and fellow champion Jade Munro.

Another great day for the 3 Lions team which is based on Estcourt Road. Great Yarmouth.
