Yarmouth Town play their first semi-final for nine seasons when they entertain Ipswich Wanderers in the Thurlow Nunn Division One KO Cup tomorrow (3).

Club secretary Len Beresford said: “Considering the turmoil the club went through last season this game is a big one for us. For us to have the season we are having at the moment speaks volumes about the attitude of our players who not only compete but hold their own against teams which are vastly more experienced. When you consider that the average age of our squad is just 21 and that we have 18 year olds that have made around 50 or more appearances for us over the last couple of seasons, things look bright for the future.” The Bloaters are away to Team Bury on Easter Monday (3).
