THREE Lions kickboxing gym's welterweight prospect Liam Plant (20) was in fine form last week in Bedford where he knocked out tough Cambridge fighter James Kahn in the first round of their welterweight Thaiboxing bout, with a superb left hook.

THREE Lions kickboxing gym's welterweight prospect Liam Plant (20) was in fine form last week in Bedford where he knocked out tough Cambridge fighter James Kahn in the first round of their welterweight Thaiboxing bout, with a superb left hook. Plant had already knocked the Cambridge lad down twice in the round, once with a well timed right cross and then a left hook, low kick combination.

Liam will be in action at the Ocean Rooms next Sunday, April 26, taking on previous opponent, the far more experienced Norwich fighter Howard Stamper for the Eastern Counties welterweight Thaiboxing title.

Also in action at the Ocean Rooms will be Bin Tyler defending his British super-featherweight kickboxing title, also Marco Henriques, Daniel Folkes, Dan Dawson, Lee Munro Robbie Munro, Jade Munro, Ben Cribb, Nicky McHugh, Conor Judge, Luke Self, Hopey, Luca Mccomb, Tommy Bracken, and Dylan Lopes.
