Former British Schoolboy and Senior champion Bin Tyler will be travelling to Reading on Sunday, March 30 where he'll be battling it out with Graham Parkinson, of the Newbury Mauy Thai Gym, in a Champion International Extreme Cagefighting event which will be filmed by Channel 4.

This fight will be a warm-up for Bin in preparation for his British title challenge which will take place at the Ocean Rooms on April 27.

Joining Bin will be the Great Yarmouth Three Lions Gym's Liam Plant (light-welter) and Marco Henriques (heavyweight) who will be taking on other local fighters.

“Local support is really important,” stressed Bin. “So we are organising a ticket and coach travel deal for anybody who would like to come and cheer us on.

“If you would like more information or to join Bin and the boys in Reading, call 07515 636604 for further details or alternatively visit the Thee Lions Gym on Escort Road, Yarmouth.”

The February 24 Three Lions junior kickboxing show at Zen nightclub saw excellent results for the Three Lions youngsters.

The event was sponsored by James Bool, Nicky McHugh and Darren Casey.

Wins - Stephanie McNabb, Courtney McHugh, Jade Munro, Tyler Munro, Tyler Lopez, Sebastian Havens and top junior prospects Caine Bacon and Chase Sutherland.

Draws - Connor McHugh, Luca McCoomb, Nicky McHugh, Jamie Bool, Jack Bool, Billy Beason, Henry Andrews, Michael Andrews, Jade-Marie Campbell, Charlie Tomkinson, Chloe Bailey, Conor Judge, Anthony Nguyen and Jordan Brannen. All achieved excellent draws in their bouts.

Valiant runners-up included Caine Cahill, Rebecca Bailey, Imogen Casey and Luke Self.

Sidney Butcher boxed a demo with Tyler Munro and 11-year-old Jade Munro bravely boxed a demo with

16-year-old Tracey Ling of Basildon.

Fighter of the Day was Luke Self who battled Basildon's far older, taller, heavier and more experienced Paul Foster, and despite losing a very close bout never gave up - showing amazing bravery.

Most Improved Trophy went to Charlie Tomkinson.

Most exciting fight of the day honours went to 16-year-old Craig Halifax. This was Craig's Three Lions debut bout against Basildon's experienced Reece Wood.

Craig looked sharp with lovely double jabs and switch hitting combinations. Despite the bout being awarded a draw, in a re-match at the Ocean Rooms in a bigger ring, Craig's superiority will surely give him a win.

Coaches Frank Croswell, Dave Munro and Bin Tyler were extremely proud of all of the junior kickboxers performances, some of them being only five and six years old.
