World championship kickboxing returns to Great Yarmouth on Sunday.

World lightweight champion Bin Tyler, Yarmouth's most successful kickboxer ever, of the 3 Lions Gym, puts his title on the line against Portuguese K1 champion Nuno “Duran” Correia. He has 10 KO wins and is a veteran of over 35 K1 and Muay Thai bouts. They meet at the Ocean Room.

There will be four England v Ireland international bouts on the bill with Yarmouth's world silver medallist Dan Dawson taking on highly-rated Irish champion Dillon O'Connor in a K1 rules bout.

Kelvin Allen and Charlotte Broom will also be facing Irish opponents, and Poland's Daniel Naliwikjo will be up against Ireland's Mark McConnell.

The event which will be the biggest kickboxing show ever to be put on in the Yarmouth area also features Aaron Lewis up against Scott Hanks in a K1 battle.

There will also be a full bill of support bouts to the international and title fights including Norwich fighter Duane Green against Newark's Steve Salter, and Yarmouth's Marty “Boy” Duke in a white collar boxing bout against Norwich's Dave Elvin.

Other local fighters featured are world junior champion Cameron McGarrigle, Aaron Monson, Josh Allen, Jack Docherty, Nicky McHugh, Kelsea Carroll, and Lowestoft's, Imogen Casey, Luca McComb and Carlos Regini Moran.

This promises to be the biggest kickboxing event ever held in the region and the organisers of the fundraising event expect it to be a complete sell out.

Tickets are available from the usual outlets, and 3 Lions are looking for fight sponsors for the VIP tables for this fund raising event for the junior England full-contact squad. 07501995573.
