Bradwell's Mervyn King marched into the quarter-finals of the PDC World Darts Championships with a 4-1 win over Dennis Smith, at Alexandra Palace.

“I got the win and sometimes you have to win ugly,” said King on Tuesday night, as he set up a meeting with Barry Bates.

“I got the win and sometimes you have to win ugly,” said King on Tuesday night, as he set up a meeting with Barry Bates. King had cruised to the last 16 of the championships when he beat Mark Walsh 4-2 on Sunday night.
