L&Y face run of important fixtures
RUGBY: Lowestoft & Yarmouth are back to league action this week when they travel to Essex side Campion.
After last weeks hard-fought away Senior Vase win at Datchworth, L&Y will be looking for more of the same.
Captain Marc Thomas comes back in the side at No 8 with Chris Howe pushing back up to the hooker slot.
Kris Nelson also returns at No 12 so his brother Scott can move back to his usual position of No 10. Russell Chapman resumes at scrum-half and Josh Fewkes reverts back to the wing.
Tom Dare makes his league debut on the other wing after a good showing at Datchworth, with usual wing Kristen Taylor Crisp moving to the bench after taking a knock on the shoulder last week. Simon Coleman comes back in the second row after a week’s lay-off.
Campion have proved themselves this season after winning Essex One last year, and L&Y know that any side in London League Three North-East will be strong at home.
Director of rugby Scott Nelson said: “We have some difficult fixtures leading up to Christmas and we all realise the importance of these results come the end of the season.
