LA Tennis celebrated as Louie Parker put Gorleston back on the junior tennis map.
Louie secured an impressive victory at the Easton College mini-reds tournament for juniors aged eight years and under.
The tournament, with a total of 24 competitors, saw Louie confidently win every game in the group stages.
In the winning group Louie had to play some skilful opponents but achieved an impressive total of eight consecutive wins.
As a result of Louie’s hard work and the dedicated coaching from Lee Austrin, he has been invited to train and compete with the Norfolk county team.
The bank holiday weekend saw LA Tennis, based at Gorleston Tennis Club, host another successful Mini Orange Tournament for juniors aged nine years and under.
All demonstrated an improving ability to perform in a competitive environment, each playing five games in the group stages. The final, between Louie Parker and a much-improved, Oliver Pratt was a three-set battle, resulting in Louie winning 7-5, 5-7, 7-3.
