Swimming in the Norfolk County Challenge Gala at which there were 60 events, Great Yarmouth achieved 27 first places, 14 seconds, and 12 thirds. They also had 15 places in the final six.
Kelly Pywell was the top swimmer with first places in all her seven events: 100m, 50m Backstroke, 100m, 50m Fly; 100m, 50m Freestyle; 200m I/M.
Oliver Tedstone and Declan Scott were close behind with Oliver getting five firsts 50m, 100m, 200m, Freestyle, 200m Fly, second 100 Fly third 50m, 100m Breaststroke.
Declan had five firsts 50m,200m, Freestyle, 100m Breaststroke, 100m Fly, 200m I/M, second 50m Backstroke, third 100m Freestyle, 50m Breaststroke.
Good placings also came from Bethany Burwood first 50m, 100m Breaststroke, second 50m Backstroke, India Loveland first 200m Breaststroke, second 200m Backstroke, third 100m Breaststroke. Melina Burwood first 50m Fly, second 200m Freestyle.
Lauren James first 100m Freestyle, second 50m Breaststroke, third 50m Fly, 200m I/M.Hollie Haylett first 50m Breaststroke, third 50m Freestyle.Jack Collins first 50m, 200m, Freestyle, Harry Grice first 200m Freestyle, second 50m Breaststroke.
Second places came from Adelaide Loveland 50m Freestyle, 50m Breaststroke, 200m Breaststroke. Grace Leech 50m Freestyle, Hannah Ingham 100m I/M,Paige Lovage 200m Freestyle,Natasha Mansfield Holly 200m Breaststroke, Ryan Webb 50m Fly.
Third places came from Taylor Hudson 50m Backstroke, 50m Breaststroke, Luke Daine 50M Backstroke.
Also finishing in the first six were Miles Houghton, Danielle Page, Macey James and Natasha Pestka.
