Marsh Harriers FC have achieved the FA Charter Standard Club Award.

The club was formed in 2005 to enable players of all abilities to enjoy a game of football, and now competes in the Norfolk and Suffolk Youth League. The club's ethos is to be honest, respectful and fair.

Bob Carr, Marsh Harriers' chairman and Charter Standard coach said: “We are extremely proud to have achieved Charter Standard Award status. We feel it shows that we run the club to

a high standard, with all procedures and policies in place to safeguard the children.

“We couldn't have achieved the Charter Standard Award without the full support of other club members, so thanks to all involved.”

Craig Terrington, Norfolk County FA's football development officer, who supported Marsh Harriers with their application added: “Marsh Harriers have put in a lot of hard work to achieve the award and I hope they continue to grow, maintaining the high standards already set.”
