Medals haul for gymnasts

GYMNASTICS: At a level one and two apparatus competition at Easton College, Norwich, a squad from East Norfolk Gymnastics Club showed their abilities against other gymnasts from the region.

Notable outstanding individual performances came from (all overall winners): Sienna Saunders (female seven and under level one); Chloe Donoghue (female eight level one); Jessica Holland (female nine level one); Mimi Simpson (female 11 and 12 level one); Ellis Nunn (female 13 and 14 level one); Ellie-Marie Crouch (female 15 and 16); Dylan Saunders (male 10 level one); Harry Lowe (male 11 and 12); Kellen Brown (male 15 and 16); Olivia Miller (female nine level two); Shereen Allen (female 11 and 12 level two).

ENGC had a haul of 87 medals in all the disciplines – 43 gold, 26 silver and 18 bronze. Club lead coach Donald Carr said “I am delighted for all the gymnasts who have worked so hard with their training.”

East Norfolk Gymnastics Club train on a regular basis at Ormiston Venture Academy, Oriel Avenue, Gorleston, on Monday, Thursday and Friday evenings during term time.
