Mill Lane Under 14s suffer a Sunday to forget with 3-0 defeat

AC Mill Lane U14s played the Comets on Sunday but unfortunately, it simply wasn’t meant to be.

The passing football that the boys have been playing all season never got going, various formations were attempted to try to get something going however, it was just one of those games that was never meant to be.

A good, fun training session is needed tomorrow and hopefully a good performance will follow on Sunday.

Man of the match was Alex Herwin for keeping the score at 3-0.

The next meeting of the Great Yarmouth Referees Association will take place on Monday at 7.45pm at the clubhouse of Great Yarmouth FC. The guest for the evening will be referees’ observer chairman Peter Spring who will discuss promotion issues and cover any latest referees matters. Hot food as always will be available and new members and potential new referees are welcome. Details from Keith Greensides on 01493 732069.
