Daniel Seabourne, 13, continued his impressive form when he and James Segolo (County Arts) won the Inaugural County Arts U18 Pairs competitionlast weekend. They then followed that success by carrying off the North Walsham U16 Pairs on Good Friday.
This was Daniel's fifth junior tournament success of the indoor' season and confirms his position as one of Acle's bright young stars of the future. Daniel has now represented his county at both junior and senior level both indoors and out and next week will be playing in his first county semi-final together with his playing partners John Harris, Jamie Howlett and George Tubby, also of the Acle IBC.
Northgate Bowls Club would welcome new members. The green will be open at Northgate Hospital on Sunday, April 25, at 1.30pm and anyone interested in joining can come then, or phone 01493 855952 for information.
