Ormesby Village Junior School showed off their new sports kit at the Hemsby Megamaze with Fiona Hirst, the maze manager. The school is grateful to Hirst Farms for sponsoring the new shirts which were worn for the first time in a cricket match against Acle Primary. Richard Hirst said: “We are delighted to sponsor the school’s new sports shirts, continuing the long relationship we have in getting classes from the school out onto the farm. The Hemsby Megamaze, we hope, provides a good place for children and their families to come during the summer holidays to get both fresh air and exercise, whilst having fun trying to solve the clues in our Bee A hero maze.” The shirts will also be used for netball, athletics and tag rugby matches, as well as for the swimming squad. With a new football strip also introduced this year, Ormesby Junior will be looking good for the new school year. The Ormesby Junior School Year 4 athletics team (top left) ran, jumped and threw their way to a great win at the recent Flegg Cluster Meet held at Martham Primary. It was a great way to follow up their indoor athletics win earlier in the year.
