With the start of the local football season fast approaching, Mitchell's Renault is seeing the world in green and white after offering to support their local boys' team.

The Renault dealership which has branches in Great Yarmouth and Lowestoft, put its name to Gorleston Rangers' shirts after being approached by the U9 squad to help sponsor their kit.

And the 11 members of the Gorleston team paid a visit to their newest supporters to thank them for their help at the start of what will be a long, hard season for the Rangers, who play at Lynn Grove High School.

Team supporter and mum Christine Thomas said: “This is the age where the matches start to get really competitive and the boys have got a season of league and cup matches ahead of them.

“Getting football kit is an expensive business these days so we are very grateful to Mitchell's for offering to sponsor the shirts as it has been a big help to us.

“Hopefully having these great looking shirts will help the boys do really well over the course of the season.”

Mitchell's Sales Manager David Cooper, added: “I usually follow Sheffield United but this season I'll be looking out for Gorleston's results.

“It was great to see the lads in their new kits and I hope the shirts bring them a lot of success.

“Green and white are definitely the colours to watch this season.”
