TABLE TENNIS: In the Great Yarmouth League, Police lost heavily against BSC, scoring only one point, but bounced back against Mill Lane to take the tie 7-3. there was a welcome back for Josh Baxter after injury.

Dynamos, fielding their strongest team, were 8-2 winners against St John’s A and again 8-2 against King’s Church A with Mike Wood and Curtis Beales gaining the two points for the losers.

BSC currently top Division One followed by St John B. Burrage and St Johns A, Burrage have games in hand. The bottom two are Sparks and Police.

ENSFC A are well clear at the top of Division Two followed by Caister A and Gorleston Conservative Club.

At the bottom are King’s Church C and ENSFC B — but this could all change when league play resumes.

The Spring Pairs have been played this week with the final due on Thursday, January 20.
