RUNNING: Sunday saw the Wymondham 10-mile race. On a challenging course over undulating roads in weather more suitable for watching than racing, the Great Yarmouth Road Runners had 15 runners competing (pictured right).

This again was an excellent turnout from the Seasiders. Taking to the start line for the first time as a club member was Michael Dale, while it was also good to see the returning Nicola Baker pushing her husband Andrew on to a personal best.

Congratulations went to Richard Blake, who yet again won his age category.

With busy weekends and midweek fixtures on the horizon, the Road Runners will again be out in force.

Times (yet to be confirmed): Phil Quantrill 1-03:26 (14th), Andrew Manning 1-03:51 (15th). Neil Sibley 1-06:18 (23rd), Richard Blake 1-07:34 (30th and age category winner), Andy Peck 1-11:32 (56th), Steve Etherington 1-13:10 (66th), Steve Dady 1-14:07 (70th), Paul Evans 1-14:12 (71st), Andrew Baker 1-14:57 (75th PB), John Bone 1-16:41 (86th), Nicola Baker 1-25:03, Mark Mountain 1-27:00, Michael Dale 1-28:18 (PB), Carol Spong 1-29:00, Ivan Lees 1-31:00.
