Over 250 Cliff Park High School students took part in the Sports Relief Row-a-Mile Challenge on Friday when approximately £1,000 was raised for the charity.
Rebecca Oldman, who chaired the event, said the students were “a credit to the school and all did extremely well.”
Each pupil had to row a mile as quickly as they could in their house teams. They started at 9am and rowed continuously until 3pm. Quickest time was 5.56 minutes.
