Rugby club caters for youth
Broadland-Great Yarmouth RFC training sessions will continue on Wednesday nights 7-9pm until next April. The club has fixtures lined up for first, second and third teams for the season as the playing membership continues to grow.

The club has fixtures lined up for first, second and third teams for the season as the playing membership continues to grow. Matches are scheduled for Saturday afternoons and begin in early September.

Youth rugby begins again on Sunday, September 6 from 10am-noon at Cobholm playing fields, just off the A12 between the Gapton Hall roundabout and Breydon Bridge.
Boys and girls aged five to 16 are welcome and all sessions are taken by qualified coaches. The clubhouse is also open, serving bacon rolls, tea and coffee for parents and guardians. There is no charge for youth training and no match fees for youth players.
B-GY Youth is running a schools' day on September 16 for all children in the Yarmouth area in Years Eight to 10, details will be available through schools at the start of term.

On Sunday, September 27 the club is entering players aged 12-15 in the Norwich emerging club tournament. Further details will be made available nearer the time but it is expected players will leave the clubhouse at 9.30am and return around 6pm.
During autumn half-term, October 26-27, the club will host a rugby camp in partnership with the Rugby Football Union. The cost for the two-day event will be �20 per child, and professional coaches will be on hand. The camp is aimed at 10-16 year olds.
