Race entries are now being taken for the third Marriott’s Way 10k race organised by Broadland District Council, and entrants are urged to sign up quickly to secure a place.

The predominantly off-road race takes on the Marriott’s Way from Aylsham to Reepham and is being held on Sunday, October 9.

In addition this year there will be a Corporate Challenge where businesses are encouraged to enter a team and compete against local organisations to be the fastest team on the day.

There will also be a beer festival to celebrate the event at Whitwell and Reepham Railway — the sponsors of the race. It should be an enjoyable day out for serious competitors, leisure runners and anyone who turns out to watch.

Competitors must be at least 16 years old. Entry forms can be downloaded from www.broadland.gov.uk/weekend or you can apply online at www.runnersworld.co.uk
