Woodlands Primary School are celebrating after winning the Great Yarmouth Inter Schools swimming gala.
This year's event was once again held at the Phoenix pool, Bradwell, with schools from all over the East Norfolk Partnership taking part. Pupils raced in breaststroke, backstroke and freestyle events over a 25m distance, with relay races in each stroke and a cannon relay to close the event.
Each swimmer was timed as the gala was held over two days. Day two featured some of the partnership's larger schools, Cliff Park, Wroughton, Ormesby and Moorlands.
Pupils from Years 4, 5 and 6 participated in this competitive event, with Woodlands having a Year 3 swimmer Kia Buller also in their ranks.
The final score was extremely close between the two strongest teams with Woodlands finishing with a total of 159 to Cliff Park's 151.
The photograph shows the pupils holding the shield, which Woodlands have won for the 14th time.
