The semi-finalists of the two divisional cups were decided on Saturday with the top three of the first division

through to the last four of the HA Holmes Cup along with Golfers Arms.

Goals from Ollie McCarthy (2), Chris King and G Ford squeezed Golfers Arms past Gunton 4-3 and a semi-final against Catfield, who defeated Great Yarmouth International 5-1 with a double from Chad Pillar and a goal each from Adam Thompson, Aaron Bowers and Karl Barnard.

Two goals from Steve Calver and one from Ben Kiki helped Arches to a 3-1 win at Lacon Arms and a late goal blitz from MK United reversed a 2-1 deficit at Reedham into a 7-2 win with goals from Thompson (2), AD Hogg (2), AR Hogg, Jackson and Holliman.

The top two in the second division met in the Burgess Cup with Hemsby Reserves taking a fourth-minute lead at Albion (GY) through Wayne Bensley but a first goal of the season from Rhys Butler drew Albion level.

Ryan Johnson gave Albion the lead before the hour mark, however Hemsby equalised from a Steven George free-kick to take the game into extra time where Johnny Bowles settled the tie from the penalty spot.

Albion will face South Yarmouth once again in a cup fixture after their 4-1 win at home to Shrublands through doubles from Darren Howe and Luke Sweeney.

In two high-scoring games MK United Reserves eased past Great Yarmouth United 12-0 while gaols from J Symonds (2) G Arbon, S King, S Johnson, C Clements and L Taylor helped Prostar Windows to a 7-4 win against Gorleston Wanderers.

Norfolk and Chance continued their recent good form and moved to fifth in the table with a 5-0 win at Martham A as Khan Powell (2) Mark Sutton (2) and Ben Smithirst netted while Great Yarmouth Peelers beat Carpathians 3-1 with two goals from Jason Howell and one from Chris Dormer.
